Call for Proposals
MFLA is pleased to announce our Call for Proposals for the 2021 Spring Conference to be held virtually on March 20, 2021. This event will be entirely online in anticipation of continued public health restrictions on large, in-person gatherings.
Our theme is Proficiency Your Way: Multiple Modes, Multiple Paths.
Some potential topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
Target language use & comprehensible input
Interpreting authentic resources
Oral interpersonal communication
Planning with backward design
Grammar as a concept in meaningful contexts
Providing oral feedback
We invite you to submit a proposal as an individual or with one or more colleagues. You may propose either (1) a live interactive session or (2) a pre-recorded session with live simultaneous chat-based interaction (“simulive”).
If you prefer one or the other format, you will be able to indicate as much on the submission form. If you have no preference, we will try to balance our offerings in terms of format. Please submit your proposal below. The submission deadline is Friday, January 15, 2021. Notification for accepted proposals will be made by early February.
